While AI can enhance style or clarity, outsourcing the core of writing to it can feel like generating a multitude of "lies." This perspective urges us to question the role of AI in creative processes and reminds marketers and students alike about the value of authenticity.

The next piece from “Platforms, AI, and the Economics of BigTech” addresses a topic close to my heart: the future of work. It warns of the de-skilling effect, where commoditizing skills challenges the notion of earning a premium for them.
I chatted with the author, discussing the complex territory of AI's agency in decision-making. OK, AI may enhance productivity, but we shall compromise human value or responsibility. And I see that giving too much agency to AI tools is not the right way forward. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that!
A Walk with AI's Loudest Critic
Gary Marcus is always fun, and he is often right about AI (ho boy, he loves to be right!). Here’s an interesting chat with him.
Lastly, MIT Technology Review offers a captivating account of a stroll with Gary Marcus, known for his critical stance on AI's current trajectory. The article underscores Marcus's concern that AI regulation might repeat the mistakes made by social media companies.
